I seriously think that SE needs to rework this quest. It is probably the worst laid out DPS check that I’ve ever had to deal with. The whole meteor phase is rediculous. And if you manage to pass that, you play as Y’shtola which isn’t so bad. The worst part is if you lose as Y’shtola you have to fight Sadu all over again.

I think they need to add some kind of checkpoint in this quest where you swap to being Y’shtola. Because having to get through Sadu all over again is such a pain. I’m a ilvl356 RDM and I’m getting my tail handed to me over and over. I take out the adds in third phase and she’s at like 1% and the meteor still falls and I die.

How do you even lose as Y'shtola?

Im tempted to just type "See other 5 page thread on the front page of this board titled 'The Will of the Moon'", but ill go a bit further.

For the Y'shtola fight: Focus target Hien before the fighting starts so you can watch him and get back to him in a hurry if needed. If his health falls below roughly 2/3 feel free to heal him. When you see them do their LB make sure he's topped off before and after. Ignore your target. Attack Hiens target(from range) - keep your DoT up and hit him with your attack as needed. Heal yourself if your health gets into the 40-50% range(Hien first though - you can dodge AoEs while he wont). Once Hiens target is down the 2 of you double team the oronir fellow and end the fight easily.

You dont have to take out the adds. It weakens her if you do, but if doing so is causing you to fail the fight then skip them(or only do some maybe?). I glanced at your gear(mostly to check if your weapon was holding you back - its not), and while a few of the pieces arent great you are better equiped then many people whove completed this fight. Alter your tactics a bit and you should join their ranks shortly.
