    Can't begin "Blue Collar Work"

    My blue mage job is level 17 and I have learned the blood drain spell (and every other spell available from enemies in the world up to level 24).

    I have no alert in the top left to say that I can undertake the next job quest, and I've scoured the area where the wiki says the quest is begun but to no avail.

    Not sure if I'm missing something obvious or if this is a genuine bug. Any help would be appreciated.

    did you pick up the quest after you got water cannon outside of the dry docks?

    That was it. Thanks a bunch!

    Difficult to know what you've missed when there's nothing pointing towards it. Especially when my "completed" journal showed that I'd finished the prerequisite quest.
