New Tank Mounts Reskined

Tank mounts clearly aren't getting people to tank either though, using the logic the devs worked to in SB that means they should stop doing them.

Don't get me wrong, I want a cool Gunbreaker mount, but a lot of people just seem to be assuming a new set of tank mounts for 5.0 is inevitable. I'm not so sure.

I'd say you're both right and wrong by saying this - you're right in the sense that tank-mounts wont get many people who dont play tanks in the first place to tank (just how the gunblade wont do that).
But I do believe that the tank mounts are an incentive for people who already like playing tanks, to take them into content more often.

Speaking from personal (and with that anecdotal, granted) experience I can tell you that both me and some friends (all of us actually like tanking, some even main a tank) are more likely to take our tanks into content because we're still missing tank-mounts. I main a paladin, but I enjoy playing bard aswell - and as long as I didnt had my lion, I was eager to tank EX-primals! Now that I do have that lion, I'm looking more for groups that need a DPS - dont get me wrong, I still enjoy tanking, but if I have to pick between bard and paladin, it will be my bard from now on.

I doubt there will be any new. The incentive was to make people use the duty finder more often as a tank, not people joining PF tank-mount farm groups.
Maybe gunbreaker will get its version, but that will be it. (My assumption)

Angelo should have been the mount you'd get when you get all the wolf mounts. They could also make him sprout angel wings to fly, as a nod to Rinoa

When healers are consistently the most in demand for duty finder, sure. The reason they added the tank ones was to get people to sign up for things as tanks to earn them. I doubt they're going to add them for other jobs unless the ratio alters long term.

That won't make them sign up more, simply because they'll either wait for the content to be unsynced or just do it with friends. The only people actually enjoying the rewards 'deservedly' is tank mains.

If they wanted they should make it where you have to random queue ( no premade) into roulettes inorder to get credit to get the mounts. Who knows they might even reskin the existing tank mounts and make the lvl80 ones two seaters.
