    Gsync and Vsync

    Hello

Anyone here use Gysnc enable and Vsync enable? I notice since using them both everything is smooth like butter except other players characters seem like they have delay movement possibly server related or their own internet.

But when I have it vsync turned off everything does not look smooth and tiny bit of stutter but I am not sure if its just my eyes playing trick on me.

    I am using fps cap at 1/1 144fps as I have a PG279Q 144H 1440P Monitor.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

If you are getting noticeable stutter with Vsync off, it sounds like Gsync isn't on properly.

There should be an option to have no limit for the fps. Does this change anything?

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

I have Vsync enabled with Gsync, it's meant to be. I have not noticed anything like what you describe, Asus G752, gtx1070 75Hz refresh rate.

I did some research and found this thread: https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...rless-low-fps/

In it they recommend turning off Fast Boot if you're running G Synch in fullscreen or windowless bordered--apparently having Fast Boot on and enabling G Synch causes fps issues.

Maybe that's why mine is ok, I have fastboot disabled so my trackpad keeps working <.<
