
Oh, I totally agree it's not relevant here. I just wanted to mention it because that's how thirsty I am for them. You raise a good point about them not having gendered names. And honestly, excepting a few, most of them seem fitting for either male or female characters.As much as I want them to, adding males or not isn't relevant in this case. Whether they are officially implemented as characters or not, they still canonically exist, and people are going to be fanficcing off those concept art images if nothing else. If I was doing that then I'd definitely still want to get their names right!
That said, WhiteArchmage is probably correct in guessing that they wouldn't actually have gendered names if their gender can't be recognised at birth - unless there was some kind of tradition where they don't actually get names until they mature, or child-names aren't carried into adulthood, or something like that.
