Expansion bundles query

Quick question, hoping someone who's pre-purchased an expansion before might have a clue:

If I pre-purchase Shadowbringers for my daughter, who only has the base game, will she be able to play HW and StB before headstart/July, or would she have to wait?

She will have to wait for the official launch or pre-launch if you also got early access. So if they want to progress through the story beyond the base game before the launch then (sadly) you will have to purchase Stormblood which includes Havensward so you end up paying twice in a way for content. Ideally in my opinion once they announced and opened up the expansion for pre-order they ought to have put the previous expansion on special offer for those who are in your position so as to encourage you to "expand early at a discount".

When I started I just bought the complete Stormblood edition and I am glad I did as I am already well into Havensward content and my character is just over two weeks old!
