Wait, so mystic knight is basically what the whole Vivi + Steiner combo is all about in FFIX without the separate caster part?

Now that would make an interesting healer, possibly adding healing-by-damage and/or melee-healing to the current healer option.

The irony being that Beatrix is a Paladin, and I think this topic came about by comparing Paladins to Mystic Knights. I guess we've come full circle, huh?

Humm Kinda mixed on this...

Healer sure need a new job.

But, being a BRD/DNC is one of my secret roleplaying dream and I profundly hate playing heal in any game I ever played, even when I choose a heal class/job I'd rather play it DPS and be useless with it but have fun.

I would love to play a full on artistic DPS singing and dancing on my ennemies corpses rather than choosing between my bow or being the scapegoat/"why can't you heal the dps stanced tank pulling half the dungeon while putting huge dps number"/boring babysitter job that could be fun if not for the fact your not here to have fun but heal retarded blind dps.

So, I'll be very very glad its a DpS, disapointed if its a heal but thats all, I'll just wont playing it at all and continue my song only carreer.

Just like I think DRK look cool but don't bother touching it cause I feel like tanking is boring as hell or astrologian that look kinda cool too and I love healers gear most of the time but its a heal-job soooo heck no.

She wasn't a paladin she was q rune knight .. paladins do not use seal abilitys


Since ppl cant understand the differences obviously


Paladins only use holy magic period just heal,rez, and swords basicly

A rune knight uses seals and all magic times as enchants on the blade

Wait where are you getting that info? She is a Paladin, it's stated in IX that she is.

Also, any job can do anything if the developers wish it. Based on what you wrote, i'm not sure if you we're being sarcastic or not, since you listed a " rotationç that looks very XI-ish.

For one tactics go replay all ffs and honestly no they cant unless its a new creation the old jobs are set in stone they have no choice in the matter but 2 submit

I found the problem! Tactics isn't IX. If the canon of FFIX says she's a PLD, it doesn't matter what a PLD is or isn't in FFTactics, she's a PLD in IX.

Also old jobs aren't set in stone. See XIV's DRK not using HP to do damage. SE has creative license over the whole franchise and every job within.

Apparently Beatrix uses a combination of some white magic, including a healing spell, a resurrection spell, and the Holy spell, as well as some of Steiner's sword arts, which deal thunder, non-elemental, or physical damage.

Like i said rune knight gets all including holy magic .. however pally only gets holly magic and sword and shield
