Adjustment to Character Recovery Limit

As FFXIV closes in on its 6th year since A Realm Reborn originally launched in 2013, it seems increasingly punishing and prohibitive that each Square Enix account is only allowed one character recovery per lifetime. I think it is more than past time to give players another opportunity to recover lost data, whether it be through adjusting the limit on the service, or overhauling it entirely.

With the launch of Shadowbringers on the horizon, I hope the development team will consider lessening this restriction so that long term players may make use of this feature once again. A lot can happen in so many years, and I've personally had the unfortunate experience of losing my character for a second time and being unable to retrieve it. I know it is somewhat abnormal, but I'm sure there are many other players in a similar situation who would appreciate this change, or ones who have been hesitant to use the service in the first place due to its limited nature.

If abuse is somehow a concern, or the worry that an increase in recovery requests would tax customer service representatives, I propose that some sort of refresh time could be implemented that only allowed the service to be used once annually.
