A Disciple of the Land hunter/farmer type class called 'Shepherd' ('SHP' for short) was once planned for FFXIV back during the original version (1.0) of the game, but nothing ever came of it besides a class logo and it's name (and a locked and empty Guildhall in Falcon's Nest of all places). Given said Guildhall was omitted in the 'rebuilt' Falcon's Nest in Heavensward, I'm taking it as evidence that SE have abandoned all plans for such a class sadly.
