    Question Regarding Scaeven Gear

So I have a small question Regarding the gear progression. Stormblood is my first expansion to have played from the very beginning and seeing full gear progression.

Is Scaeven the final armor tier like Shire was? Or should I be expecting something new in later patches? I'm mainly asking because this time round the healer gear seems to have a lot of spell speed which has me to 1700 which I feel is depleting me of my mp quite fast.

Also of note, if you're Spell Speed is getting too high for your mana, you might look at choosing to not use some of the Scaevan gear and instead use some of the pieces from the 24-man raid.

For example, the healer hat from the Monastery doesn't have spell speed while the Scaevan one does, same with the gloves. Also the Ivalician pants have less spell speed than the Scaevan ones. You will give up a little main stat, but sometimes a lower item level piece of gear is actually superior to the higher one.

yeah I was getting ready to look into that. I know the ilvl is slightly lower but I feel like going over 1500 sps as a healer is a little too much. For me at least. I'll have to look at the pieces to see which ones I'll use

I don't think spell speed is a issue here, It seems most of the encounters in SB require at lot of AOE heals in both the alliance and normal raids. Keeps you on your toes managing mana.
