It should be obvious by now to SE that their calculation hasn't panned out. The low odds on card drops may cause determined collectors to spend more time, but it reduces the population of collectors drastically. They just had to change how BLU drop rates worked over this, yeah low odds are "staying power" but few people actually want to go through that. No reason why they shouldn't let up on TT drop rates too.

That's only one reason TT isn't as popular as it should be (seriously, this is a game full of FF fans, we love Triple Triad why isn't it a thing half the players are doing?) - they also need to change deckbuilding rules; making it a star "budget", i.e. 17 or 18 or etc. stars total, would be the best imo since it makes all star values possibly relevant. As-is the double-8s meta gets pretty dull, if there were more room for creativity you might actual have people play pickup games to try out decks.

Third they need to change up the tourney formats from the four that have been running forever, and maybe consider a unique prize besides more cards to get people in and playing against other players rather than NPC farming.
