An Unexpected Error Has Occured FFXIV. (17)

I am at my wits end I keep crashing and I have tried everything but it keeps happening sometimes I can be online for hours other times minutes it's never the same. One time one character will be infected and I can't log onto them at all but all my others are fine, then that one is fine and a different character is infected.

Please for the love of the twelve help a brother out I've seriously done everything to try and fix it.

-Clean Boot
-Uninstall/Reinstall (8 times)
-Changed Compatibility
-Switched to Directx 9
-Deleted My Games Folder
-Windows Update completely up to date.

The list goes on but you get the picture. please please please help me!

I've been having the same problem for roughly 4 months. Constant error window's popping up, whether it be me playing for 5 seconds or 5 hours.

I'm having the exact same problem. Though I think I've narrowed it down to a few things. It doesn't always happen, but in Eureka (any zone) after a FATE NM dies, and everyone in the area starts to mount and leave, my game slows down CONSIDERABLY and then I get the "unexpected error" and it force closes. If I'm just doing other stuff in Eureka or there's a FATE w/o a hundred people, everything is fine. I've even tried turning my graphics down to the absolute lowest setting and it still happens. I don't think this is my rig slowing down and losing ram or something to make it quit. I know my rig can handle it, I built it in August. I've also tried a fresh re-install, and pretty much everything else OP said. For me it only happens in Eureka though. I can do literally anything else for a full day and get no errors.

Mookula, I apologize for the delay in our response to your concern. Does the crash only happen when fully logged into the game? Does it happen anywhere else such as when the FFXIV launcher is first booted? We would also like to gather more information about the system. Please open the start menu and in the search box type "msinfo32" and hit the enter key. This will launch the the " system information tool". Select the " Software Environment" and then " running tasks", once the page loads, select "file" at the top of the page and then click "export" and save this as a txt file. Once complete please open the text file and copy and paste the file in you reply.

Taggerung5, if you are experiencing the same issue, could you create your own thread? Also please provide a system report by going to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

The crash happens only when I log in from the character screen to the load in it loads and loads and loads then crashes (sometimes) never by just loading the launcher. It also only happens to some of characters some times. Example right now on Balmung I have four characters, currently I can long into two of them but not my two level 70 mains.

I figured out what you meant by reading another thread and I've already tried that, it didn't work, I jsut spent 6 days without a crash only to be walking thtough Ul'dah and BAM I crashed and now I can't get back in on the toon at all. this is getting really old I really need some help here.
