Relic has nothing to do in Savage XD
I never used my HW relic in Savage because at the point the relic was available the static finished farming the tier MONTHS ago. WTF are you saying.

And again, they aren't rewards, they are there to bribe people and force them to do it, which can be skipped by spending gils, making it obvious they tossed random stuff to bribe people.

If you need to wait MONTHS to clear savage because you NEED to get a relic, maybe you are doing something wrong, VERY wrong.

There you go, you finally came to your senses. If the relic isn't needed for doing savage content. Then how on earth is it needed to do casual dungeons in 5.0? I must be one heck of an elitist since I did SB with a RDM that FYI has no relic.

If you need the relic to be BiS to do the hallway dungeons that are filled with mindless easy mobs, then you're not just doing something wrong, you're doing tons of things that are wrong.

And if you consider the rewards as a bribe, then biggest bribe is the previous relic quests. Because they know no one would bother touching open map fates and do dungeons and trials for light farming and tomes if it wasn't for the relic.

The relics in ARR and HW had no rewards tied to them besides a fancy glamour and they are more successful than the ones from Eureka when SE tried to bribe people with other rewards to do the shitty content.

Eureka failed miserably, not even with the hairstyles, emotes and pets, people can be bothered to do it.

Sounds like you have never completed a relics in ARR and HW when the quest steps were new and first made available. The relic in SB wasn't BiS most of the expansion because of the initial delays in Eureka. Previously the relic at it's highest available upgrade stage at the time was BiS or very close to it. This cycle however I am seeing far more people building relics while the content is new as opposed to ARR and HW which after a point in ARR many of the relic builders had adopted the mindset of "I'll do it later after it gets nerfed to make it easier".

In ARR and HW since I continually upgraded my Relic I could always do the next patch stuff on release without a Tome weapon or a Primal weapon. When I leveled my NIN in HW I used my Relic pretty much till lvl 60 cause the sub stats on the other weapons just weren't good enough. I switched to SAM in SB so I'm not sure how far the relic could take you in SB. The Relic may not be for savage but it IS a good alternative to not having to constantly buy or farm new weapons for the casual side of stuff.

To be fair I would have completed my RDM relic if I hadn't been required to get the logo grams to do it. Instead of needing 30 for it they need to nerf that to like... 15.

I can help you with that. Using only Fundamental and Conceptual Logograms (they are dirt cheap on the MB now if you wanted to buy them), you can get 29 Logos actions. And if you already got any other type of Logograms, you can easily complete 30. Inimical Logograms are also cheap.
