Please no more Eureka!

I've seen argument batted around a bit in this thread and it has me a bit confused, some people are claiming that Eureka is baiting people to go into it by offering glams, minions, mounts and hair.

The relic is nice, but imo I'd still be doing eureka even without it. For the other rewards though, how is it any different than rewards you can get from pvp, potd, or raiding?

They don't belong there, otherwise they wouldn't put them inside lootboxes to bribe people to do it.

Sure remove stuff from normal raids and savage and ultimate while we're at it

They are incentives just look at HoH as something that had lower incentives and died faster because of it Eureka isn't for everyone devs didn't even intend for it to be their mistake was tying the relic solely in Eureka if there was a separate weapon for Eureka but the relic had its old formula which btw was asked on many occasions to have unique stuff to do for it kinda got that wish just not how people were asking for it hey ho can't change that now

And in my case, I only bother with savage when the glamour is worth the effort or the tier is fun/interesting (Alexander the Creator was and still is my favorite raid and I would run it any day if I could for the fun. I also run Orbonne with my partner even when we already looted because it's a fun alliance raid.

I do know many people who cleared Ultimate not for tittles or weapons but to try it and have fun with a more challenging content. And in my case, I only bother with savage when the glamour is worth the effort or the tier is fun/interesting (Alexander the Creator was and still is my favorite raid and I would run it any day if I could for the fun. I also run Orbonne with my partner even when we already looted because it's a fun alliance raid.

Fun is very subjective there are those that find Eureka fun and those that find raiding boring and any other combination under the sun out there just because you find it not fun (ik most people don't find it fun) doesn't mean there can't be carrots there for people who do just like raiding has its carrots.
The big design flaw was tieing the relic to it if it was a unique Eureka weapon there would be far less flac on it but the reason the relic went in there wasn't to make sure it was populated but because of player demand that wanted the relic to have unique assets tied to it like the base ARR relic did which was asked for years throughout both ARR and HW relic questlines.

HoH has a value when you reach floors 31 - 100 if you want the pony mount and the rare drops from you can only get after floor 30 (like the dodo mount). It's not just for leveling. Take the rewards out and why would people bother doing it up to floor 100 more than once?

There you go, you would only bother with doing a hard content like savage if it's worth the effort (e.g. when it becomes unsynced I would assume). So what if there were no rewards from savage? Orbonne is fun but how many times would you actually do it if there was 0 rewards for it? For me, I only did it three times in total. First time for the clear and two times to help friends. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who wouldn't bother doing it that much if it weren't for the rewards. But I don't consider them as bad content because of that.

I'd do it for fun. At least it's a lot more interactive than dungeons where mostly the form of communication that you get is "o/" at the beginning and "tyfp" at the end and a mindless bashing of weak mobs in a linear path along the way.

Second coil (savage) died due to lack of rewards. Doing it "for fun" doesn't work even if the content is fun.
