A better analogy would be that the ultimate death machine rollercoaster has a height restriction, meaning kids can't ride it. Those kids have their own section and their own rides that thrillseekers would find boring. In many theme parks, rides are literally categorised by thrill level, and the type of rider that they are catering to.
