I tried to do Eureka.... even soloed up to EL5 prior to even trying to get a party only to be ignored by the people conversing in shout about nm trains and whatnot. I couldn't even get a response when I asked if I was high enough EL to even think about partying or if I should solo a few more EL's first. I couldn't even get a "git gud scrub" out of anyone.... it was like I was a ghost that could hear everyone talking, but they couldn't hear me.

I spent about 2 hours in Eureka and that 2 hours showed me that Eureka is content for cliques. If your in the clique, then it's all good. If your not in the clique, you might as well not even bother trying. I know I'm late to the whole Eureka thing, but it's not like Anemos was empty and only a few people were wandering around. The place was actively busy and people's silence made it extremely clear that my lowbie self wasn't welcome. Sure I could solo up to EL20 and then try to get a party there.... but why put forth that kind of effort when the cliques don't even consider me worthy of a pithy "git gud" or something similar to let me know that there would even be a light at the end of the EL solo grind?

If they're going to do more Eureka content in 5.x... I just won't do it. Kinda like how I don't PVP. =)
