They have literally said they have to cut some content in order to make others. The most obvious example of which is how we now get 1.5 dungeons per patch, where we used to get 3. They are not working more, they're simply reallocating. You should not worry more about the SE finances than they are, this game is growing and the income is growing as well. They would not decide to create separate pieces of content if they would be short on money and funds.
If they want to work more, you should let them, stop finding excuses for devs laziness.
Not impressed to say the least. If they want to make Diadem 5.x then cut the relic weapon/gear out of it and stop gating everything under the sun behind it - maybe shrink it down so it doesn't require as many players to get things done. That way the small number people who love Eureka can go play in their happy little garden of Eden and leave the rest of us the hell alone. But I'm mostly disappointed that they're still using the same formula from 4 years ago instead of expanding the horizon.
If they want to improve it then do what they did with raids and make every previous "Eureka" tier skippable when a new one is introduced.

i actually like Eureka. Yeah there are some places they can work on making it better, but for the most part i very much welcome the change in pace from the normal dungeon grind. i think if they can tweak certain things about it, it will be a lot more fun.

I've seen argument batted around a bit in this thread and it has me a bit confused, some people are claiming that Eureka is baiting people to go into it by offering glams, minions, mounts and hair.
The relic is nice, but imo I'd still be doing eureka even without it. For the other rewards though, how is it any different than rewards you can get from pvp, potd, or raiding?
They don't belong there, otherwise they wouldn't put them inside lootboxes to bribe people to do it.I've seen argument batted around a bit in this thread and it has me a bit confused, some people are claiming that Eureka is baiting people to go into it by offering glams, minions, mounts and hair.

The extreme rarity. Although I'm not a huge fan of cramming hairstyles and emotes behind PvP either (it's basically the same thing of forcing people who want them to do content they hate), at least those are obtainable to anyone who puts in the effort. You could farm forever and still not get a shiver emote. It might be the rarest item in the game. Or maybe that's the Elvaan minion from Pyros. It's completely absurd, and frankly I've gotten sick of the constant tease with new items in live letters and patch notes only to find they are basically unobtainable. Now any time they mention there being new hairstyles I don't get excited at all, I just wonder what kind of awful BS I'll have to trudge through to attempt to get it.I've seen argument batted around a bit in this thread and it has me a bit confused, some people are claiming that Eureka is baiting people to go into it by offering glams, minions, mounts and hair.

Depending your wallet, shiver emote can be sure easy to get along with most rewards from eureka. Only one mount, barding and a couple glams can't be listed on MB. Everything else can be bought without stepping a foot into eureka. The extreme rarity. I disliked Eureka when it first came out ... I didn't enjoy the fact they locked the relic behind a level grind system while also locking it behind RNG.
However, since I am finally getting around to finishing Pagos (yes I know it is easier now) I am starting to enjoy Eureka, as it is reminding me of my favorite MMO Everquest with the grind and fighting style in Eureka. Each segment has gotten better in their implementation from the reading and streams I have watched. Not to mention the end relics in Hydatos looks rather good imo.

While the title to this thread is extreme, Eureka is not going to be removed otherwise Diadem would of went a long time ago.
The biggest problem that's facing people is that Eureka has too many design flaws and issues that plague it, being the worst parts of MMOs meshed together and that there isn't a sense of purpose apart from doing the story and that's it. If relic wasn't a part of Eureka the only point to it would be aesthetics and aesthetics only and a side story you can read about.
If you enjoy it and many others do, more power to you, I'm glad you enjoy it, but for others (like myself) I hate it with a passion because to me it offers nothing new to me, it's a dull mob grind over and over tied with the worst kind of RNG for a weapon that's out of date even when you reach the end of the Xpac. I outright quit Eureka at Pagos, not looking back and wish it would burn to the ground, but as I'm never going back it makes no difference to me anymore.
What people want mostly is to remove the relic away from Eureka. I remember people wanting upgradeable relic gear alongside the main hand relic. SE listened... and placed it inside Eureka, which is rubbing peoples faces in it.
If you truly love the content for its own merits, surely you'll be OK with the relic being removed and back to the more older model like 2.0 or 3.0.
