Yeah. RDMs are lean, mean enmity generating machines. Imo RDM is simply a god in Eureka. I would play one while leveling and nothing else. Then I'd switch to SAM for the most part unless RDM was needed.

Here's another update lol. Started Khalamri at 73% (143 are in the instance) and spamming only Jolt and Impact but ended up with a silver. Even though I have full elemental armors (vermilion cloak included but not the Physeos weapon), 3 levels over the NM when synced and on the correct offensive element.

Spamming Jolt and Impact isn't making the most use of your toolkit so I can't imagine it would give you full credit outside of a party. It's the other abilities that really make your enmity skyrocket. Doesn't matter what gear you have if you don't use all that's available. I'm not criticizing, just making an observation.

Yes of course. I'm going to test all sorts of methods. Starting from the lazy approach for low level NMs, up to the max DPS for max level NMs.


Update: Started PW at 100%, went on full DPS, full offensive magia, full elemental armor set till 30% (except weapon), died because of the adds that people pulled till 25% then carried on with the DPS and got silver.

My partner when doing Anemos did solo Pazu as BLM and get gold for him wasn't a problem. If you play decently since the beginning of the Fate, get gold is very easy.

And the point of going solo and not join parties is because do stuff by yourself is more fun than afk in /follow and do nothing.

Again, just saying they got gold for doing it solo is not enough if you don't know the amount of players in the instance. I got silver with PW (level 60NM in case you didn't know) with 141 in the instance trying to kill it. Can you get gold if it's only 60 players? yes you can.

And you can do stuff by yourself all you like. When an NM pops, just say "LFG NM" and join a random party killing it to get gold for as simple as just poking the NM. Once it's dead, just leave it and go back to the solo business. But if you still want to be solo, by all means go ahead. If you died btw, there's a high chance you won't get resed until the NM dies and there goes your gold. Because people would be busy trying to keep their parties up first.

But whatever you say, you only come here to contradict me /shrug. Just to torment you, remember that Eureka is an endless Atma farm with the added fun of killing the same mob for hours to spawn the fate!

Here's another update, Just killed Ovni with 141 and going on full DPS and without dying and still got silver. Either your friend pulled Pazuzu first and got a red bar (that can easily ensure a gold), or it was a locked instance with less numbers of players, which can still happen to any instance even even if it just came out as I'm sure you know.

If that's how you seek enjoyment then more power to ya. Personally I prefer to be in a group because it's a bit less of a chance of dying since a healer is usually present. That and, again, being grouped just makes getting gold that much easier. When it comes to fates as essential as Pazuzu or PW I prefer having no maybes in the equation. Get gold and get out is the most ideal scenario...not "well, I probably will get gold".

I refuse to go back to Eureka till they make Logograms drop from the lockboxes you get from NMs. I think I have 24 total actions learned and I refuse to do another single bonny fate. And no I'm not deleveling myself to try and get a party to farm mobs. I don't care how easy to level it is in Pyros that's just ass backwards. Not to mention standing in one spot trying to farm the same mob over and over is boring as all hell. And no I'm not spending millions of gil because SE allowed people to take advantage of people. Gil may not be hard to make but I'm not making it hand over fist either. You don't even need logorams to do anything in Pyros (or Hydratos from what I hear except maybe BA) so tying them to the weapon and forcing you to collect something that should be optional is stupid imo. Maybe if the nerfed it to needing 5, 10, and 15 instead of 10, 20, and 30 MIGHT make me go back...
