Can't help but notice that caster relic gear for women is floofy dresses (at least for BLM and RDM) while men languish in sophistication. While I'm used to disappointment in BLM relic gear in general, the fact that the male set looks AWESOME is just... Depressing. At least the RDM set has long boots which make the dress tolerable. No. BLM fems get the same boring crackows that have been around since ARR. Some edgy goth loli boots would have made that better. *Sigh* Maybe I'll be male for Shadowbringers.

Quick question, is the concern specifically for default sets we get upon leveling up for casters? Or options in-general? If it's in-general, I can try to figure out some fun, doable fem-caster combinations if you'd like! I love designing glamour combos so wouldn't be a problem.

Also, do you want floofy male casters and female casters who also languish in sophistication or some other specific combo? If you take me up on this, just let me know any restrictions you've got and can do!

Well you can get this with the Edda outfit from the MogStation, just gotta decide whether it's worth the cost for the glamour or not.

I have those boots. I was just hoping for something i wasnt going to have to immediately glam over. I hope the rest of the classes arent like this.

I love the RDM and BLM sets they showed and I'm looking forward to them. I'm generally not a fan of unisex outfits so I'm happy our new AF gear is getting a bit more dev resources to have gendered variants.

There isn't much to say other than exchanging opinions *shrug* They can't please everybody so someone is always going to get left out. I guess it's my turn to be happy, the next time might be yours.

Thanks for clarifying, wanted to make sure because frankly I only sometimes use the relic gear for BLM leveling. Play as a dude BLM but I glamoured right over the level 70 Anemos set. It was looking pretty goofy imo and that wasn't what I was going for. Did use Goetia but with substituted bottoms 'cause that blue camo wasn't doing it for me.



Tbh it might be worth trying the Goetia on a lady but with kudzu skirt or a similarly long, skirted bottom dyed black. Alternately either dark gray or black tights instead of that default blue camo.

I can offer some stuff that seems like it would lend well to elegant lady casters rather than girlish ones, at least.



Kudzu set I figure you've probably encountered already, but the high cinching under the bust is good for a defined waist while the wide neckline + long skirt helps give a more womanly look. I personally wasn't into the set as a full, matched thing or the combo of red and purple as it was executed. In dye though, IMO silver (admittedly costs $$$), jet black (again $$$), or soot black look pretty good.



Silver scheme with goetia gloves and the beech mask looks like this, albeit on a guy.



Star Velvet Himation of Casting does pretty well too imo.



Hallowed Ramie gear if dyed and with a different bottom could be good too I think.



And dyed Indigo gear prob would work too! Hope this is useful!
