Good afternoon!
So, over the last few days, I had been receiving this crash more and more. Naturally, I started looking up some current solutions to figure out the issue, and tried some suggestions over the many posts I've seen on the forums, reddit and other places online. I had only 1 recent update, which was security essentials over the last few days. And did not require any action to update my PC or restart it. But, decided to reboot anyways, seeing as these started coming out of no where. I had been traveling back and fourth in game, or just coming out of a cutscene when these pop up. Lost during a dungeon or two on a new play through character, and even just logging into my main account gives me this crash issue.

Action:
Launching the FFXIV app

Block:
Pop up crash messages during launch. Screen turns black, followed by usually saying "Square-enix" before showing the launch info of Stormblood. Before this happens, during the black screen, automatically pops up with error:

This automatically closes my game in full, making me re-open the app and continue to re-log in and see the crash during the black screen (without seeing Square-enix and its LCC info).

Device - Computer/PC
OS - Windows 10
Game - Final Fantasy XIV
Version - Steam
OS build - Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.556)
Direct X version - Direct X12
Graphics Card - NVidia GTX 960
Connection - Wired
ISP - AT&T
Issue started - only recently after the latest patch was updated (issue only started 2-3 days ago).

Solutions:
-I have tried fully reinstalling the game multiple times
-Tried updating my PC to the current OS applicable on my WIN10 device
-Checked with other games, including Xbox Play Anywhere, with no fault or issue.
-Tried other Steam based titles with no probelms
-Tried Blizzard app and Overwatch with no issues
-Tried UbiPlay store with AC 4 with no issues
-Tried a full factory restore of PC (as a precaution added) and re-installed the game for FFXIV and still a continued issue with crashes
-Tried closing out all launch access options for Windows and rebooted my PC, and still see the same message showing up when launching the game
-I tried pulling my Windows firewall and even white listing the game, and still the crashes continue to happen
-I have also tried checking my drivers and updating them, uninstalling and re-installing, followed by rebooting my PC as a added precaution, with the same crash messages to boot.
-I do not have any other devices plugged into my PC other than my mouse and keyboard (other than my Xbox One controller, wired). I have taken the controller off, but still has the same added crash messages.
-My game had already been set to Windowed mode, as I do not like toggling between full screen and other programs I use frequently (like browsers, etc)
-I have also gone as far as a full 30min reboot of my internet just in case, and still causes the same issue
-Checked with using the compatibility mode under WIN7 & 8, and still having the same crash issues. So I unchecked the box for compatibility and running into the same issue nonetheless

At this point, I'm not really even sure what else I could attempt to try and do, and it's getting really frustrating! Any thoughts or suggestions to consider?
