Thank you for the update CrystalWitch.

Could you try temporarily disabling the Avast Antivirus program? When disabled, try running the game just to see if it can operate without freezing. Please only leave the anti virus program disabled for a short time as this is just for testing purposes.

    Hope to see you online!

I tried. and "System" and "Registry" took up all my Disk space even though Task Manager said they both were only using 0.1 MB/s each.

CrystalWitch, thank you for the update..

Does this crash happen with any other game or is it just with Final Fantasy XIV? Also could you post an updated system report?

It's other games too. but I've gotten a new hard drive for my games, so it's working now.

Thank you for the update CrystalWitch.

To clarify, you aren't having the freezing issue after getting the new hard drive?

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
