    With new game + in 5.0 wont they want old stuff to be good? Im thinking an item level sync would be good.

    They have item level sync -- just with massive lenience. Curtailing that to the item level of drops in the dungeon would probably be more reasonable, but honestly it might be better for the experience to sync it to the minimum ilvl for entry to said raid.
