Can I just say this? Because when I read this forum, I see so much negativity and complaining. "Housing is awful. Timers are awful. Your solutions are all wrong. You never listen to us. Something something spaghetti code."
You're playing this game because you like it. If you don't, then stop playing. Because games are supposed to make you happy. It is a great game of epic proportions with beautiful aesthetics. The housing system is amazing as it is. That's why you all want a house.
No, it's not perfect and it's great if you have suggestions about how to solve some problems. But also remember that this game is made by human beings and they have been doing a great job. The devs are trying their hardest to fulfill all our wishes. Sometimes, their solutions aren't perfect but they are testament to the fact that they are taking us seriously. That they think about our problems and that they are trying to come up with solutions.
I'm often amazed by how much the devs are actually accommodating our requests (from such a small group of players at that!) and even come up with designs we haven't even thought of. "People are afraid housing glitches will be fixed? No worries, you can keep all your glitches. Your items start disappearing when you place too many interactionable items? We'll fix that. You're making lofts but the glitch is difficult? Here, have an actual loft and some stairs to go with it. Oh you like making forests in your basement? How about partitions made of plants. You like to create the illusion of window views? Here's a tank trimming with a view and a moon."
If they haven't fixed the issue that you're concerned about, then trust them. They are professionals at their job and they know their game better than you. They know the technological limitations and what's a priority and what isn't. If your issue hasn't been addressed yet, then trust that they will get to it when they can. No need for conspiracy theories about how the devs are lying about server space. They have reasons for doing what they do and why they designed the game the way it is.
And please stop saying spaghetti code. It's disrespectful and implies that the devs are or have been incompetent. You don't know if the code is actually spaghetti code. And if you're better at coding, then why don't you make your own hugely successful game just the way you want it?
Cut them some slack. Please.
