1. The content has been out longer.

2. The process for 2.0 and 3.0 relics has been nerfed to the point of being trivial at best.

The comparison that will need to be made is completed relic counts of 2.0 weapons before HW, 3.0 relic counts before SB, and completed 4.0 relics before shadowbringers releases.

Which stage of the relic though? I despised Eureka and never got past Anemos but even I have the first relic stage. I'm willing to bet people with relics past Anemos are far fewer.

Makes sense. My question though, which will have to remain to be seen, is players still go after their ARR and HW relics, and will continue to do so next expansion; what I'm curious about is how many will go after SB relics once ShB is out? Will they even be able to?

Roulettes have been a standard and great way to keep players in older content, plus it helps new players get through the MSQ and NM raids. On top of that you can also progress your older relics this way. What's going to keep Eureka relevant come 5.0?

Now why would I need to go and do a thing like that when you could just as easily go into Pyros yourself and check every person there for a completed weapn? Or maybe go into the Eureka explorers discord with over 200+ ppl with completed relics? Or I dunno how about the numerous posts on reddit asking about whats needed to complete the stats? Then again I can just go into Pyros myself since its been constantly active since implementation save for the day when BLU or a major expac came out? Or wait maybe I can just go to Pier#1 and look around for all the Pyros relics. Even my super casual FC members have completed relics. Because I mean clearly everone is going into Pyros ( the dead content ) merely for the story and bunnies of course. And clearly SE is of the opinion its dead content since I mean 'No ones going to hydatos ".

I think eureka content is alright, however I did start doing stuff in it only recently after they've been nerfed to hell and back.
It definitely has its place, but dear god don't let pagos happen again.

Sometimes it's nice to just waste some time with a mindless grind after work.
I'd like to see a little less reliance on following the train though, and not by making it worse than grinding, but by making grinding a better option.

Eureka: hurry up and wait, pull "notorious monster" number 55,200...listen to obnoxious chat from bored people, go in circles in a map smaller than most major cities, stay there for hours, rinse, repeat, follow rabbits around the little map, rinse, repeat, kill mobs over and over and over and over again...lizard tails, pagos spring water, "logos" oh boy!
