So, we heading into 5.0

Stormblood for me, was thematically introduced as a very "militaresque" and "revolutionary-esque" expansion. The main theme doubles as an anthem and a battle march.

Yet, outside some very short cutscenes, some way off the main road quests, and massive lore dumps, when did this storm exactly happen? and where is the blood i was promised?

Ghimlyt Dark is thematically impresive, is honestly the second and the only good one exposition of such a premise, military action, revolution, etc. The Ala Mhigan Palace was a good try, but fell short, Ishgard Remembers only added salt to the injury.

Same goes for Doma, in fact, the common trait both Doma and Ala Mhigo share is that "they are in war", "they are broke" and they are "dungeons". Everything surrounding that and their cutscenes/quests is nothing but peaceful/natural overworld with absolutely no "war" let alone a STORM going for.

As for the blood, where is it exactly? Again, last dungeon was pretty good in this regard, but during the rest of the expansion? I saw some small scale operations, there is a FATE or two, and of course some maps show signs of conflict, but nothing deep or themed enough to be ingrained into the player.

Will the STORMBLOOD come with 4.55? I wonder, because honestly, if war and revolution where the theme of this expansion, i feel pretty much underwhelmed.
