5.0 Wishlist of a self-entitled Miqo'te

Here is a list of things I hope they announce at Tokyo Fanfest. Mostly its because of feline self-entitlement, but isn't that what any wishlist is about?

1) Let's get the obvious complaint that Male Viera were not announced. Half us want it, the other half consider Fran the pinnacle of hotness in Final Fantasy XIV.






2) Yoko Taro's head as an in-game Glamour item. Not his real head obviously. We need him alive to set the new standard for 24-player Alliance Raids.






3) I am all for dancers! While I would prefer them to use a whip to teach BLMs that they will not adjust! I'm perfectly OK with the Fans from FFXI. The Bigger and more ridiculous the fan the better!






4) Last, but not least. An in-game Minion of Masayoshi Soken! He is the 8th wonder of the World and a treasure that must always be protected and adored.

Point 1: I don't really care about because I find Viera 'meh' at best.

Point 2: Or a miniature Wind-up Yoko, I could go with either/or tbqh.

Point 3: I didn't play FFXI but Dancers with fans would be absolutely baller, like they were used in Japanese warfare. I'd be all over that.

Point 4: Yes, totally agree. He deserves SO MUCH MORE recognition than he gets currently, and I would have absolutely zero problem if he were to take over Nobuo-sans position with future FF titles, too.

If added I want the quest NPC to be a moogle in reference to the first playable moogle in the FF series... >.>

I don't know anything detailed about lore, but in FF12, the Viera were presented as a female-only race, as I recall? Or were the men simply not encountered?

If Viera are a female+only race, then the decision to have them be female-only is by no means motivated by fan-service. However, even if adding male Viera breaks the lore, I have no particular issue with it. The lorehounds might, though. Though the lorehounds would know better than I the lore behind male Viera.

Viera men=Miqo'te men.

However, they're delaying the info and for a very good reason. Vieras still don't appear to be done, or else the 4 from the trailer would have had different faces instead of just different eye color. These are also apparently light-skinned Veena viera, with no ear speckles as opposed to Fran who is a dark-skinned Rava viera. Her outfit will be the racial outfit, but how it'll appear on men is anybody's guess. I feel like a decent hint was given when Yoshi said the artist woman (I don't remember my professor's names either.) I think her initials were NY?
Anyhow, Yoshi said that she worked on Dancer for a previous FF title. He pointed that out specifically as a bullet point.

I would love to see dancers use whips. This game has way too many bladed weapons at this point, we don't need any more.
