My dislike of the Viera overall aside, they're really bland in XIV. I also dislike the Au Ra (similar reasons to Viera), but I can say that when it comes to design, they're easily more unique. Horns, tail, scales and eye-things. Viera have... rabbit ears (and probably always stand on their toes). Basically, Elezen with rabbit ears and somewhat Miqo'te face and Elezen neck.

I would definitely have rather seen an additional sub-race of Au Ra, to look nearer the original art, than yet another near-human race.

They say that we can't have even a single additional face option because it would overtax the servers and cause some manner of temporal paradox, yet... we can make another race just fine?

I'd honestly consider playing Au Ra if they were closer to their dragon and demon look... but nah. Roe dressed as bird/Behemoth for life, it seems.

Can't have body hair for similar reasons, if I vaguely recall.

Yeah, I know. So far the new races have just been disappointing: Hyur, but with X. Viera are definitely the laziest when it comes to design, though.

I'm thrilled about the NieR collaboration but not because I've played it (looks awesome though so I think I should) but because the further we step away from Final Fantasy the happier I get. I play this game because it's an MMORPG, not because it's a FF title. In fact that's its biggest weakness in my opinion.

Getting really tired of "muh story driven MMO" arguments, every time a proposed change to streamline the MSQ(which is mostly a single-player experience) or not have the MSQ gate nearly all content.

Crossover events demonstrate that SE is pretty selective about its lore and how that translates into MSQ or other quests gating content.

SE,please have more non-FF crossover events!

In my opinion NIER fits aesthetic wise really good in an Garlemaid Theme. Both have the same kind of architecture. So if the story fits well, I dont mind!

IMO if dancer is not the next healer I will be disappointed since blue and gunblade are here

Shadowbringers needs to come with +1 free retainer.

I'm not excited for Gunbreaker and the inevitable new healer job because I don't trust this dev team to make them fun, well-balanced or even remotely unique (especially after the AST/DRK debacle...).

Yes! I really wish they would expand our storage some with each expansion. They keep trying to re-use lower level crafting materials for example. Or all the tokens from different raids and primals. Each expansion comes with so many new items, but storage has barely changed. They gave us a handful of inventory slots and the chocobo bag, but no change to retainers? Normally bank space grows faster than inventory in MMOs not slower? I think we are long overdue for an additional free retainer or increased storage on each retainer. The glamour dresser did help some by getting glamours out of retainers, but still, so much stuff and so little space without paying $2 per month per retainer on a game that's already subscription.

I am happy that Minfilia is back! She has been my favorite since 1.0

Not too excited for Gunbreaker, glad it came out for those who like it..but not my cup of tea, especially with how the battle system is (everything feels samey)

Would love to see support roles added, and if that is what Dancer will be...even better.
