Sometimes you just got to have Some fun
It is not that bad since it gives players certain motivation to play Tank now.
Though I expect more SAM now because of the Nier Raid for maybe the 2B outfits, 9S outfit, and 2A outfit rather than more Gunbreaker Players since things will curve out once those that only play for the hype and those who stay because they wish to remain dedicated to the Job role is done over the 1st month of release.
Still consider Gunbreaker is based on Squall from FF8 (even using his battle stance), I expect plenty of Squall Cosplays.

Seems alright to me. Won't matter with the trust system anyway since they can play by themselves if they don't want to play higher level group content on a tank. They'll probably go in and blanket nerf all the SB dungeons anyway.

We had this same discussion when it was known that SAM and RDM would start @50. I wasn't around when HW was released, but I bet a similar concern was voiced when DRK/AST/MCH would start @30.
I'm sure everything will be just fine, and you're not going to deal with anything that you're not already currently dealing with in DF.

I mean, they already have jump potions in the game so allowing people to have a 60 tank probably won't change a thing with how people play in DF. I've already had jump potion tanks in sirensong being awful so I'm ready for it.

I'm fine with it. Less time spent grinding Gunbreaker up to 70 to bring them on the MSQ's. Should easily be able to do it within the early access period now.
Bad tanks, will always be bad tanks irrespective of level. Let's not pretend this isn't a thing already. If someone actually cares for the input they have in grouped content and their performance overall, then they are likely going to either read on the fundamentals of tanking in general, and for the class.

The leveling roulettes is just going to stick you in Sastasha a dozen times anyway. Is it just me or does this seem like a really bad idea?
The thought of giving a player who has never ever tanked a free lvl 60 tank is a really grim.
Its going to be hell for new players who get stuck with them while trying to progress in duty finder and we'll likely see a lot of ping pong agro between dps on jobs they already know how to play and the scrub Gunbreaker hitting random buttons.
It's going to be like what happenee with Dark but 100 times worse.
They should have Gunbreaker starting level at level 30.People need to learn how to tank.Dont throw them in the deep end.

It's not the same as adding RDM/SAM since a clueless DPS isn't going to halt progress and you can kick bad DPS and get a replacement in no time.
They should have it start from a much lower level unless players have one of the achievements for reaching a specified level with any of the other tanks. If they announce early, you'd have players interested in playing as the new tank level one of the current tanks and learn from now. If they don't they can always buy a jump potion and give SE more money.
Or that.I say they better have a lot of Job quests that gives them the run down of the Gunbreaker skills during the starting lvl 60. Around maybe 5 to 10 lvl 60 Job Quests with each Job quests focusing on practicing different aspects of Tank Job while also building on each previous Job quests.
