    Gunbreaker starting level

Is it just me or does this seem like a really bad idea?
The thought of giving a player who has never ever tanked a free lvl 60 tank is a really grim.
Its going to be hell for new players who get stuck with them while trying to progress in duty finder and we'll likely see a lot of ping pong agro between dps on jobs they already know how to play and the scrub Gunbreaker hitting random buttons.

It's going to be like what happenee with Dark but 100 times worse.

They should have Gunbreaker starting level at level 30.People need to learn how to tank.Dont throw them in the deep end.

I think level 50 base like SAM/RDM would've been better.

Many won't see them til they hit 80 and a lot will probably be focused on trying to get through Ultimate Pipin in the fist few days. Also they could have started off as a pld or war or even as a drk I didn't see where in the msq someone would have to be at in order to also pick them up at 60. It's also not like we already don't have tanks that don't know how to do their job and if they add a healer you'll have the same thing, but with a job that needs to keep everyone alive.

NO! Anything below 60 is too low for new jobs - people will wan't to main them in the MSQ, and it takes too long as it is to level from 60 to 70. Any lower would be unbearable. If you don't want to have to deal with new tanks, then use the trust system - that's what it's there for. Besides, anyone in their right mind that wants to switch roles pre xpack would be levelling another tank in the mean time anyway - we have 5 months after all.

Anything lower would've been unacceptable. You can't force players to level up for 70 levels before they can do the new main scenario in case they want to switch their main job to gunbreaker.

Furthermore, there will be surely be some skills pruning in 5.0, so using a level<50 job will be extremely boring for veteran players. Level 60 is a good compromise. At the very least, you'll have some kind of rotation at that point, instead of having to spam 1 or 2 skills for 60 levels.

Didn't DRK have all its 30 abilities explained and introduced over the course of their initial solo duty? I fail to see why they can't do the same here. Even then, it's 60-80 as opposed to 30-60 - the extra 10 levels will not break the learning curve unless SE massively screws up when GUN/GNB/whatever learns its abilities.

It's literally no different to handing healer/tank mains a level 50 dps in Stormblood, or the 3 jobs at 30 in Heavensward.

Personally I'd rather not have to slog through 20 levels to be able to play a new job in the new expansion. It was bad enough when I did it with Astrologian when Heavensward launched.
