Gender locked race?

No male Viera because of "lore", but FFX lore has female Ronso.

That's FF10, we're playing 14. We know literally nothing about the race other than what it looks like.

Male Viera needs to be added. The Hrothgar are just as dumb looking as I expected them to be. They literally just slapped some fur and a lion head on a Roegadyn body and called it Hrothgar. It's one of the laziest characters designs I've seen in this game yet. Male Viera would have actually added something interesting and different to the game. :/

Also, can we just point out that we don't need more cats? We have Miqo'te, and people are happy with them (I have 2). Lupin would have been a much cooler new race.

Yeah they could have added a stance that makes you DPS or HEAL. A new type of job. Idk.

They're not particularly experimental with job designs. I mean they won't even allow tanks to really do that - they just have higher damage modes for when they're OT.

Unfortunately, we do know that they're called Ronso in the first shard. There's no real excuse for them being male only when we know that "Ronso" have females.

Super disappointed with the genderlock on the races. Hoping that Square will remedy this by patching in the male and female genders respectively in the 5.x series.
