SE vets what questions are asked/answered at fanfests as attendees have to turn in little cards that have a question written on it and forum posts are posted/selected in advance for the panel. Its not like PAX where they hand you a mic and you can sneak a non-previewed question in, which is why the questions are fluff 90% of the time.
