Now that you mention it, it does seem rather suspicious that they have stressed "this will probably be the last race" more than once. Are they notorious for announcing "this is the last time we're doing this" during their FanFests? I've only recently started getting into the FF franchise, so I'm no expert on the subject (hence my reasoning for this discussion).
