GOD I need this in my videogame.Utterly bizzare...There's basically no way to duplicate the glitch, at least not with a character that has progressed beyond that point in the story. The original poster is gone apparently. We're back to square one again. Anyways, enjoy another bunny to lift your spirits:
(not how that shirt says on though... or how it's comfortable... That's gotta chafe)

So either faked or true, and they're not gender locked. Or they're gender locked and the system has a weird way of checking things.
I'll just assume they're faked.

I will try to see if the other npc tell me something, but I think it's tied to msq in Ishgard...

Yeah you can't confirm or deny it without being under the same variables as the op.
Gotta be doing that msq, yo.
(but once again you can't use it, if it's not faked, as proof of anything. The dialogue obviously needs to go through a couple passes before it's ready since it obviously has improper syntax on its trigger.)

RED ALERT RED ALERT RED ALERT

HMmMmmmMm:
Keep in mind what manages that part of the wording could be a seperate system (that is properly checking gender of your actual character and doesn't check for "viera can't do that sir, pull back"). Hopefully it's not though and everything is true (other race too) and everyone in the thread starts singing together holding hands lol.
But today is a lot of HMhmmMmMMMmMm

If I'm not mistaken, for females in French the words end with an extra E? Maybe I'm thinking of something else but regardless this pretty much tells us that Viera aren't the only new race to be added. Since this is a glitch but we don't know what level this error occurred at, I agree that it's still not definite proof that both genders are available.
Though, if a race only has one gender, why would anyone bother going into the code and writing a version for males and females? Not sure if that's how it really works but who knows...

Gonna sue you for copyright infringement 'cause those are my thoughts exactly.Keep in mind what manages that part of the wording could be a seperate system (that is properly checking gender of your actual character and doesn't check for "viera can't do that sir, pull back"). The broken code just screams "replace all" functions before actual localization.
But I do hope it means we're getting both sexes. Boy golly do I hope.
Or this, it could be entirely this.
Regardless, my hopes are still on the floor atm.
A mountain in skyrim.
