Y'all need to remember we have literally never seen male Viera before. Not in any game. Considering this, seeing them for the first time here would probably be a big deal. It makes sense to divide the reveals. We're getting male Viera, so chill out lol.

But we've already seen concept art of male Viera way back before HW's release, so...
Also, it doesn't make sense. SE should know that not showing a male Viera would cause the community to rage (as it tends to over gender-locked glamour). Basically, SE made a very poor decision and if it turns out there is no male Viera after all and it's lion race males... well I know I'll have my popcorn ready.

Then if they add Ronso for whatever bizarre reason I guess we will have both genders. I'm all for a beastly amazonian cat lady. I was also all for the powerful demonic female builds with amazing tails much like a Tiefling they have for Au Ra before making them petite little girls you could snap in half.

If Viieras are female only but the Ronso get two genders people will be MAD.

Oh definitely. Especially since in MMO culture a lot of content is tailored for female models. Thus they have much better options compared to males in general which IMO isn't really fair to male characters at all.

It's why I'll roll as a female very option by virtue of having options and looking much better then the male models.

Yeah I'm here for them adding Ronso if it has both. I just think people are being really silly right now. Why would they 1. Create concept art for male Viera. 2. They went through all the time to create male Miqo'te and female Roe for 2.0 and then... go and say "nahhh let's NOT!" and then 3. Replace the male with a race that actually has female models...? It's not gonna happen guys. We still have a long time until the expansion comes out.

And sorry. But I'm sure if you go through everything that leaker has ever said, some of it is wrong. And afaik all he said was there is a "lion race" which people then decided was Ronso? Nor did he say it was a gender locked lion race.
