Gender locked race?

Welp, can't wait until they reverse this short-sighted decision in 6.0.

This could actually happen, as RoroCookies said, Ronso also had females...The lore is something easy to play with apparently in FF14 lol.

I've played it and I'll pass. My preferences don't lie in either of those directions and its gameplay is not to my tastes. There's more than just the gender-lock which is making me question the design direction of the expansion.

Quite frankly, I now want to see more customisation options for the existing races and hopefully the decision to undo this silly gender-lock. Absent the foregoing, and a graphics touch up in 6.0, I will consider myself to be a very non-committal subscriber.

Male Viera needs to be added. The Hrothgar are just as dumb looking as I expected them to be. They literally just slapped some fur and a lion head on a Roegadyn body and called it Hrothgar. It's one of the laziest characters designs I've seen in this game yet. Male Viera would have actually added something interesting and different to the game. :/

Okay, let's be fair, the Male Viera design could easily have been just as lazy. That doesn't change the fact it was highly requested though, and that no one was looking forward to a genderlock.

Also, can we just point out that we don't need more cats? We have Miqo'te, and people are happy with them (I have 2). Lupin would have been a much cooler new race.
