Come on now, this has been talked about multiple times in this thread. There are more differences between ronso and miqo'te than there is between miqo'te and viera. If you can't envision how they can be different yet you're 100% ok with viera being added to the game then that seems like severe hypocrisy to me.

How is it severe hypocrisy? I honestly can't imagine how they look like because I can't imagine them making them extremely beast like. All I can imagine is something that looks like Byakko and even that seems 'out there'. Having a lack of solid 'image' on what something would look like is certainly not 'hypocrisy' when there's been zero information leaked beyond 'inspired by ronso', 'majestic mane' and 'bara'.

While with Viera we already have a baseline imagery set. Concept art they released as well as the female counterpart?

The main reason why I don’t want the Ronso is because of that horn thing in the middle of the forehead. It would bug the hell out of me if I played one.

Well if Au ra can glue on new scales to there face and add horns to there hair im sure if we got ronso the horn would be a optional piece thing on the face.

Then they have no reason not to make male Viera given that there's been demand for them for literal years. Not saying there's been no demand for things like what we assume Hroth will be, but I doubt it's comparable.

If SE can only make two new playable characters instead of four, then they should make what looks best and what most people would enjoy.

And therein lies the crux of the matter - if they do have such limited resources, why go with the unknown Hrothgar over the much requested and anticipated male Viera?

I mean, I thought it would cost more resources to create an entirely new race that uses a completely different 'skeleton' + lore + art + possible homeland/location - than it would be to add in half of a race that already has the lore in place, already has the homeland and location. And is only missing the damned skeleton and the obvious tinkering that comes with the skeleton/model.

One already has brownie points and people rooting; another also has 'small' amount of brownie points and is mostly unknown to those who don't bother to check this forum or keep tabs on leaks. I mean, that's just me. Shrug. While Viera, welp - folks who played FF12 + Tactics and all the spinoffs will know about Viera.

Hrothgar may not be the same size as Roe, atleast I hope not, They might not be a "furry" we don't really know at this point. Hopefully something akin to Byakko would be sweet.

As for male Viera we may not get them if the original creator did not want to allow them to be but due to fans wanting Viera they gave what they could. I wish everything works out for most people to be happy.
