Gender locked race?

Not everyone operates on the logic of "if I'm going to be staring at its butt the whole day, it may as well be of a toon that I find hot." There's also the "me but even better" strain of thought. ;p

I don't get the "staring at character all day" train of thought. I hardly look at my character during gameplay at all - I'm looking at monsters and party members and HP bars and skill procs. Or, out of battle, NPCs and maps and where I'm actually walking. There's no need to look at my character any more than I have to keep checking what my physical self is doing. I know exactly where they are (centre of the screen) and what they are doing (whatever button I just pushed); it's everything else that needs watching.

There are cutscenes, of course, but you see more of the character's face than their back.



For my own character designs, I wasn't trying to make them attractive OR like myself, they're just character designs that I liked. Inevitably there's overlap between "I like this design" and "I find it attractive" but that wasn't the primary intent.

Although there's no doubt some fan service to the hetero sections of the male audience with female Viera, it's not like straight girls don't also enjoy playing (sexed up) female toons, for similar reasons to why many straight guys play attractive and/or muscled male characters. Funny how usually the women are discounted or forgotten when it gets time to go political xD (by whoever is trying to make that point, they're removed to make it seem like an authority point of view (male or female)). Definitely there exists many women who want to play the sexy bombshell! (Of course there are men and women who'd like to play something more reserved and focused on other things.

I don't mind playing bombshells of either gender, even if they don't meet my sexual preference, but if given the option I tend to feel funny purposefully picking a female to dress up and down lol. I don't feel funny if I wasn't given the option, like Bayonetta - she's awesome. Just a personal hiccup though hehe.

It would certainly damper my mood for the night might prevent sleep as i can't sleep if grumpy and i would be too anxious to not watch the stream at the time it is for me. Please SE give us bunbois and if Hrothgar are a thing gives us female Hrothgar please no gender lock ;_;

I hope we won't get the BLU moment like in US fanfest, where the audiences were so hyped up at the beginning and during the BLU reveal. Then they started revealing more info about BLU and the atmosphere changed almost 180.

Imagine if they will reveal about the other new job first then some info about the 8-man raid, the audiences get hyped up, then they announce that viera is gender-locked....
