I think the biggest rift I've seen are between people who want a manly tall elezen type male Viera and the little bunny boy we saw in the concept art. I honestly don't think the faces are what people are arguing about lol.

I think some people were typing "redacted" so their post wouldn't get deleted if the forum mods got trigger happy as comments involving datamines and leaks are sometimes deleted. That or forum mods only care about certain forums. People have said Hrothgar plenty of times in this thread and the GD in general.

I think the female viera are perfect, everything about them. They're the best looking girls in the game imo (coming from a gay guy, so take that for what its worth) and we haven't even seen all their options yet. They're not quite as fierce looking as Fran as, but I think that is understandable as Fran doesn't represent the entire race.

If the Hrothgar don't impress me, female viera it is. :v There's no other option.

That goes against the whole beastmen not being allowed within city states thing, if they do that they'd have to redact more lore than I feel they'd have to just to add in male viera. Since anything more beastial than miqo'te would be really towing the line.

I think SE are gradually moving away from the whole 'beastmen not allowed in city' lore thing, since they've had a Lupin in Gridania and those two Mamool Ja in Ul'dah if you unlock BLU. Either that, or it's only the Eorzea beastmen that aren't allowed in the city states.

Besides, if we're gonna ignore male Viera lore just so they can be playable, but then say beastmen can't be playable because of lore reason... double standards, much?
