Gender locked race?

I just want to point out... The Males are there. They didn't demo them, but the Wandering Draumaturge on the Prima Vista gives a VERY Detailed account of the Male Veira.

They're like the Keepers of the Moon. They don't hang with the girls much. They mainly keep in the trees and protect the wood. Once a year, they come down to breed and gather up any males that have come of age, and train them in the way of the wood.

They didn't show them in the video... but they're there. They won't sex lock a race.

$5 they didn't finish the male models in time, and thus left them to the next fan festival. Same reason why they didn't announce the 8 man raids either. Also the Au Ra were announced at the tokyo fan festival, so they are ahead of schedule.

5 months until an expansion and not having a complete model of a race is troubling. Tons of animations to do and make sure seams don't show for them, plus gear outfitting, and making sure there are no issues in cutscenes. That is not very much time.

Strictly speaking, the argument doesn't need to be that the males are in a ramshackle completely undone mess at the moment, just that they aren't up to the standards that they would like for a video demonstration of the class. There is a bit of room between "Tons of animations to do and make sure seams don't show for them, plus gear outfitting, and making sure there are no issues in cutscenes" and "fit to show at a live event."

That's what I am hoping anyways.

I mean, that's what pre-rendered cutscenes are for. The thing showing the Viera we saw.

There's a lot of benefit of the doubt stated by the people who are worried. We are taking speculative tones.

wouldn't say its premature SE went out of its way to omit males from everything shown with no reason we are just left hanging for a day? nearly 2 months? its silly to do that comfirming one way or the other is better than left hanging and hoping they didn't even need to show just confirm

I can't believe they didn't acknowledge or even talk about Male Viera. I personally am not affected by it, but if this race is gender locked, that is a huge mistep. Even if by BluFever magic we get another male only race, it's not the same. They shouldn't gender lock races lol. *shakes head*
