Cast your FFXIV movie

So how would it become an FFxIV movie if without the WoL? Even trailers for expansions require the Deplander let alone a whole movie.

For the roles, I agree with Maggie Smith for Matoya... Judi Dench would be ok for Merlwyb if not for the imposing height of that character....maybe Hugh Jackman for Raubahn... I’m still thinking for a Minfilia....

Agreed on Maggie Smith for Matoya being perfect. Hmm... Maybe Judi Gold for Merlwyb? She's tall enough. Minfillia is tough yeah, but maybe Kristen Bell? I'd suggest Andy Serkis playing most of the beast tribe characters, and Ron Perlman as Godbert. Ellen Page could play Krile. Not sure who should play Alphinaud and Alisaie though.

I'd watch a short-movie with Khloe Aliapoh telling (over-exaggerated) stories of adventurers to other people as well. As for 'Derplander', the same model is used for the Warrior of Darkness, so I don't know what is canon appearance for him. There's a lot of other interesting characters making up the game too, and there have been several WoLs and Echo-users up through the ages (not just us).

Really? I was thinking Ron Pearlman.

Ron Perlman would be perfect as Godbert Manderville Maybe you switched Hildibrand Manderville and Godbert Manderville around. I'd suggest Will Arnett for Hildibrand maybe? They have the same forehead and hairstyle as well as being a comedian actor.

Manamoppet, I'll tell you who would be perfect as Ron Perlman's son (and also a great comic actor)... Will Ferrell. Just try to tell me there's not a credible family resemblance, there!

Also, I think I'd have to cast a young Jan Smithers to play the most important character of all, the main character, the Warrior of Light, Hjordis Schreck.
