Cast your FFXIV movie

With the fan fest just a few hours away FFXIV is always on my mind. Now as I was out running I started thinking about who would play if a movie version were ever made.

It's a shame Christopher Lee died. He would have made a perfect Archbishop.

Let's see the others! Hmmm.

Well he could make a good Raubahn, but he does do more and more commedic roles lately. And we don't have many buff commedians.

Well I would totally be un board for a none Hyur WoL. What can I say, I really like his acting. He would make a pretty good Dark Knight.

You mean that one try? yeah that sucked, but mostly because it did its best not to be a Final Fantasy movie.

Also, you don't have to take everything super seriously. Especially not on a gaming forum. Just pretend the question is:" Which actor resembles one of the FFXIV characters?" Better now?

I don't think the WoL should be in any official movie, as every player have their own idea about who the WoL is and which job they use. Otherwise I think this is a great idea! One could do some side-characters, and do e.g. a sort of anthology movie, with some combination of these for example, jumping back and forth in time:

- The escape of Yugiri and the refugees from Doma
- Papalymo and Yda/Lyse (during/after ARR)
- A previous Calamity (e.g. The War of the Magi with the fall of Mhach/Amdapor?) (with maybe a WoL/Echo user before our time)
- The Warriors of Darkness
- The New World
- Sharlayan (with Matoya)
- etc.

Plenty of materia/lore to make movie of that's not in the MSQ

I would totally behind these for an actual movie. My favorite would be the Meracidian conquest. But that would ruin the fun of casting all the people we know.

Oh and maybe a look at unseen areas. Nangxia perhaps. Or the rest of Hingashi.
