What weapon/s would you like for a tank class? What kind of mechanics would you like it to have?

I was thinking a gunlance could be pretty cool, and could fit lore wise.

Gunlance? Like the one of Hildibrand? This look more like Dragoon. Dragoon gunner? Nah, that's not a good idea.

With the trailer of Shadowbringers we can says that Bladegunner will come. But probably as a tank because of the balance of classes.

We need more tanks with shields and more blunt weapons in general :O

Okay, that's maybe a bit too close to PLD, but I really would like to have giant tower shields available ^^

An axe that actually looks nice and not like the assembled remains of rejected weapon concept art :<

Currently the only really nice axe at high end is the Tsukuyomi axe. The rest have a lot of ornamentation. Need more like medieval battle axes or axes from other cultures, like the panabas.

*sanity* a not over sized weapon with non-over the top designs/flashiness, unless its the pommel or hand guard for set weapons- excluding primal weaps

*for tanks only & and maybe heals*
But the one thing i would like weap skill/enchantments included into materia, only limited to 2 materia slot in total
Mp/hp drain 5%~8% of attack (complete combo or use of gauge)
Tp booster 8-12 pts
Ten x3 booster if health falls below 20%
And/Or
Single res to another party member where you drop half your hp/mp/tp, atk is half power and damage done to you is 75% harder but bypasses all buffs but parry and block

But that will never happen HA!
