    Hey,
I have also been experiencing these issues since last Tuesday. I'm also from the netherlands and have ziggo as internet provider.
I posted this issue on reddit last wednesday and it seems quite some people are experiencing this issue and not everyone is from the netherlands.

hope it can be fixed soon, savage content is completely unplayable like this

It may sounds too easy but banal port forwarding fixed my issue.

Thank you for the update Kiriko_Hattori.

It sounds like some commonalities between everyone is their location and their ISP (I understand some of you don't fall into these categories but I want to focus on that). Since it happens to be worse in the evening, it sounds like you may be running into congestion along your route. This would, unfortunately, be something that is beyond your control. I'm going to suggest a few troubleshooting suggestions that will help stabilize your home network, but you may still run into issues related to congestion.

-Reset your router by turning it off for a few minutes, then back on

-Make sure to use a wired Ethernet connection as opposed to wireless

-Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that the following Port Ranges have been opened:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
Your ISP can open these ports for you.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
