Thank you for the giggles. Seriously.
What we need is a weekly test to be able to post on this forum.

There's no way to know who's going to be a bad or not specially if you don't care about a tool that well can help you weed out the worst offenders. Also sadly this game doesn't do a good job of teaching people how to do their job or about rotations and no you can't really use SSS as a marker because that just says they have enough dps to clear the fight while just standing there. You also will run into a lot of people who want to run savage or try their hand at savage who don't care and there's nothing you can do and sometimes even the game can't do to make them actually care about actually trying. Then there are those people who are bad because they don't know how to improve but are at least trying.

There is also the group of people that love and enjoy the game but have a hard time getting better. Whether it be a disability or due to age. I for one do not mind playing with these people. I can keep them alive forever on healer so they may enjoy themselves. Empathy.
REDNESS
Yeah...while in general, I agree that the general playerbase could be better, this is just a really bad idea. I mean, unless you want to actively kill sub count. This isn't about New Players
Doing Expert Dungeons in DF is rly cancer
0 DPS Healers just standing around and doing nothing
1k DPS Tanks, only pulling small groups and need 5mins to pull the next grp
2k DPS DDs don't know how to use AoEs or anything about their Rotations
Doing Weekly Savage in PF is also cancer
Tanks can't use their CDs
DDs are so low in DPS, that it looks like, the Boss is healing himself
Healers... oof... don't know what to say
Everyone fails easy Mechanics and no one knows what Mitigation is.. :/
So can Bad Players pls get locked out from DF/PF
They can go premade, if they want a free carry
There could be a weekly Test:
- Every Job should do a minimum of DPS, based on their current iLvl/Gear
- Play Basic Game-Mechanics
If you pass the Test, you are allowed to fully use DF and PF
Btw, how do OP imagine people learn the raids if he want to lock them out from the duty finder?
I know how to pull out decent dps on my chars, but i have troubles to adjust this knowledge to the raid, because of many different mechanics i am not aware of since i dont spend that much time repeating one run over and over and over. If i do one raid twice a week this is a success itself.
Correct me if i am wrong, but knowing the raid and its phases and the boss moves could make up to 50% of someones dps, thats what i have observed.
Locking DF like OP wants would only increase the queue times into infinity and it wont fix anything, the OP is either trolling or drunk i guess, the idea would completely destroy Pugs.

Sometimes kind of a dps and mechanic check would be a great thing x:
It can't go on that players with more than one lvl 70 Job and ilvl 350-90 Gear don't know how basic mechanics works, like the stack marks, turning around and face away from the Boss when the big red Eye pops up over the Boss or moving away from the group when you have the aoe mark over your Head that places a aoe under your Char, that are all things you see many many times on your way to lvl 70 and there are still so many people don't know how to act in this situations, so i can understand that there are People who wish for some kind of dps/mechanic tests to enter some content.
