There's a lot wrong with this.
Profanity isn't just swearing. Using the profanity filter blocks cuss words, sure. But, it doesn't block other comments that you made. You were originally banned for harassment because you were aggressive and hostile towards someone who kicked you from the Novice Network for making racist comments. You were reported and Square Enix deemed it banworthy. You would think after just serving a nine day ban you'd be more careful what you say? But, you understand because people who make racist comments should be banned.
Also, you're talking in a public channel. There can be more people that dislike what you said instead of assuming it was a coordinated attack on you. ALSO, people even showed you what you said that probably got you in trouble and all you did was play a victim. Oh well. The fact you're still on about this is funny.
Glad to see you in the game again![]()

You're talking in a public forum meant to help new people to the game. And your first ban was due to harassment. I'm pretty sure the logs could be found. It wasn't meant as a joke, it was pretty aggressive. To say that the person who reported you AND SE are plotting against you is silly. You're also assuming there was a coordinated attack against you. Not that you were wrong in any capacity. SE has access to all the logs. They can go over what was said and deem it either a joke or not. And, apparently you were TWICE going against their ToS.
Also, if people were baiting you into saying something in an attempt to ban you, take your own advice and blacklist them. There's hundreds of people in NN and it's silly to assume only a small group of people were bothered.
There's a time and place to talk about certain things. Probably best to keep it to small groups.

If you have to actively state "Blacklist me if..." you should probably learn some social cues and not do the thing you're about to do.

The problem with that is on our server we have a very "liberal" fc that has pretty much taken over the nn. And a vast majority have stated prior to the whole ban situation that they did not like riley. So him telling them to blist him in my opinion was justified. And when a group of them reported him for what I'd say was pretty trivial stuff he got a warning afterwards he used what I would call angry words because he was pissed that they pretty much Personally attacked him. Has he cussed yes. Has he taken it to far maybe in the one instance. does he deserve the ban? I don't feel he does
The fact you have to use the word "liberal" in your defense of him is pretty sad. Political stances mean nothing. The fact of the matter is he got banned for violations of Square Enix's terms of service on more than one occasion over a period of a few months. He had been given several warnings prior to his permanent suspension. The first ten day suspension should have been a clue. That's what happens when you choose not to learn from your mistakes and continue to conduct yourself the same way despite being given slaps on the wrist. Square Enix has a code of conduct that was agreed to, and following that is part of playing the game. A permanent suspension does not come out of nowhere.
"The problem with that is" nobody cares about your fc or how many people from it are in NN or how "liberal" you all are. Fact is he got temp-banned for harassment, breaking ToS, in a public space that shouldn't be used for that kind of talk. Then when he got back off the temp ban he broke it and got reported a second time which caused the permanent ban. Opinions are all subjective here. It's not anyone's space but SE's and their rules were broken. End of story.

Now, I do not know exactly what has been said where or by whom, so please take the following as general advice.
The existence of the profanity filter does not excuse any actual use of profanities. So don't use the fact that the filter exists to justify your behaviour.
Telling people to blacklist you if they don't like what you say is also not an acceptable excuse for use of bad language.
That something was meant as a joke is also not much of an excuse. "I was just kidding", or "Hey, have you no sense of humour?", are some of the favourite excuses of bullies and jerks all over the world.
It does not actually matter if anyone got offended by whatever you said, or if they even read it.
There are things you are not allowed to say in public channels in the game (or even in private channels, but there it is less likely that anybody cares), and if you break the rules you should expect that there can be consequences.
