    No, you think that because even the best AI is such an idiot that just picking the highest possible value is enough to beat it. Every time you you pull out tiles, the board rearranges. While you can't predict what new tiles will come in at the bottom, the rest of the rearrangement is completely predictable. Against a decent opponent, you have to calculate what moves you're going to be giving him. But that goes unnoticed at present because the AI is too dumb to require such strategy on your part.

    I don't think that can have any significant impact, especially not with a board of such a small scale. I usually consider how the pieces will move regardless of how weak the AI is - just to keep my mind busy and prevent the loss of brain cells. But half of the time, the new pieces that come in provide better opportunities than before anyway. And you also have to consider that by choosing something other than the highest value, you're gaining less points yourself.

    If they would increase the total number of tiles and display beforehand which new pieces come in though... Now that could be more fun, provided the AI can keep up.
