The title says it all. I hate it and insults my intelligence. I didnt see a thread on this so like if you want to remove parley in 2.0

Like here if for some strange reason you actually want to keep it.
Parley's main issue is how much time it takes to do. I don't think anyone would have an issue with it if you could get what you need in, say, a minute. Then it'd just be a nice little variety and a break from combat. As it is though, you spend a second or two picking your tile, then a minute watching the whole board shuffle itself up, the NPC to select their tile, then the board to shuffle up again... 90% of parley is spent waiting. If they drastically sped the game up, it'd be fine.
Speeding it up and making more tiles would help but they really should scrap it and replace with a different mini-game. I really hope this isnt content that just gets recycled into 2.0 as is.
I agree that the tiles could move faster, but otherwise I like the game itself. What I'm not a huge fan of it how it's associated with ... talking points. I think it's a clever little game, but I think it's a bad allegory for the act of convincing someone to reveal information about something.
I'm not sure how I would like to see the game used, however.
Wow already 5 people that wanna keep it, not off to good start lol
I sort of like parley, but I find it extremely easy to win against the NPCs, which makes me question its purpose as you don't need a lot of skill to win, even on the highest difficulty. The other thing that really bugs me, like people already said, is how slow it is. It takes from the difficulty as well as it leaves you more time to plan your move in peace.

I prefer parley compared to crafting mini game <_< lol
People like something I don't! That must be bad!
Now, seriously. I will agree that the way Parley is currently set up is pretty bad; there's no one to play with, it allows us to bypass what few battles the main storyline offers, it's slow as hell and sometimes very frustrating. That said, the idea itself is actually pretty neat, and the game can easily be improved in such a way that it can become more engaging.
Make it faster, add more NPCs to play, allow PvP parley, add more "abilities", put a few hard as hell "elite" npcs, increase the number of rewards that can be obtained (not talking about "gear", but those simple bet items we can gain like base materials) and voila. We have a little neat mini game to waste time with untill they come up with a "real" game, be it a card game or whatever.
Not everything just needs to be "removed and replaced".
Lol you took it to another extreme there, I was just suprised that more people want to keep it than remove it. Everyones entitled to their own opinion, I personally dont like it. Could it be changed to where it was more fun and less annoying ? Most defintely. I guess the title of the thread should have been "changes you would like to see to Parley for 2.0" If we dont say anything , we may end up with the same old parley for 2.0.People like something I don't!
