After BLU patch lag issues

Hello everyone ,
After the introduction of the blu patch and server swaps I have had the occasional problem in dungeons. 9/10 times they run fluid and smooth, and that last time its like playing a slideshow, I will get 5 seconds of play for every 5 second of lag, making the game essentially unplayable. This only seems to happen in instanced events . Does anyone seem to have a work around for this or even an idea of what is happening?

It sounds like the issue is rather infrequent, do you notice any patterns to the times it does happen? Are you trying to do a particular dungeon or do you experience it at a particular time of day?

You mentioned you changed servers. What was the server that you were on before?

I have been having this same problem, and the patterns I have noticed which cause the lag to be at its absolute worst are big groups of people. This lag has never been around before until the BLU patch. The lag dissipated the first time 3 days after the patch introducing the blue mage. The lag has ever since returned after the most recent patch. During Saturday and Sunday it was so bad it was completely unplayable. Having gone to an S rank monster, I was stuck on my mount, watching the boss health drain while I could not attack. I experience this lag everywhere, but most notably inside of dungeons, raids, trials. It seems only to occur most when there are large groups of people. But that is not to say it still does not stick around. To answer a possibly asked question, the lag is not on my end, I have tested this by hopping onto another game and finding it to be completely smooth and operable. This unbearable gameplay ruining lag is only happening here, and ONLY appeared after the patch introducing the blue mages. Please help, I can't do anything. I have tried resetting my router. It does not fix this issue whatsoever. During Saturday I was booted from the servers 7 times, possibly even 9. During any form of trial or raid (because of duty roulette) if I am lucky it will often just have everything stand still for 3 seconds. Often times everything stands still for 10 seconds, possibly even more, only to see a large variety of mechanics hurled at me in a blaze all at once. This lag is literally ruining the game for me.
