I will escalate this information as you requested in your first post. However, if you are still getting the error after doing a clean install of the OS, the game and all drivers, we may be looking at a hardware issue. As such, I can't guarantee that this will result in the error being resolved for you.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
Einmimiria I bought a new upgraded system to try and correct this problem. Its only gotten worse in its frequency This is not a faulty hardware issue. My system info can be found in a reply to the OP above. Included is a recent dxdiag log. Hope this helps.

Update 2-23-2019 I have reverted to old troubleshooting practices I learned while performing Avionics Maintenance for the U.S. Air Force. I turned everything off on my PC except for the game. This included my Anit-Virus protection. The game has been running fine. This alone tells my that these crashes are a compatibility problem between the game, How DirectX-12 is utilized in the game and other programs. not a hardware problem. I am slowly bringing back programs that I use and will do so until I can duplicate the crash cycle again. When I reach that point I will report those findings Hope this helps.

I know it's a few weeks later, but I finally got the game working, and there's been an all stop on not only the Direct X errors it was generating, but all the blue screens that seemed to cascade after a crash.

I found this thread here, along with a couple where the staff took a stab about disabling HDMI audio due to there being sound and graphic errors in people's error posts. This lead to me disabling the HDMI sound, because I don't use it anyway (which really...that should have made it a non-issue in the first place).

Y'all need to get Drebbe's posts to the develompent team. Kid's on to something with the xaudio 2.7 API talk they've been making. While frontline tech may not catch on to it being important, development will.

I literally should not have to disable a sound source that I'm not even using to play a game. And having any errors with that source from that game should never cause so many errors, it looks like a damn motherboard failing (which was what I was starting to run with, since the errors were so varied). I'm betting I'm not the only one having this issue, and only having it with XIV.

So for the love of coding, get that xaudio 2.7 API info to the programmers.

I've read some information from other games experiencing DX11 crashes due to other software such as steam running using DX12 simultaneously. I ended up making sure I was clear of steam, and then in powershell, got rid of all of the bloated xbox software program removal wouldn't get rid of. On top of that, I removed every last slice of battle-net and while I am not positive it helped, I didn't get a DX11 crash all night last night. Here's to hope.
