i dont know if you doing that on purpouse but you cant put overall gamedesign choices in the game and then say "buts its optional so it doesn't matter". If something is optional but more convenient people are gonna do it. Like thats how human work, including in mmos.

Thats like saying giving god mode to players in instances and then say "well if it destorys the fun for you dont use it!"

You can consider mounts/ teleport aetheryte optional too when you can walk your character everywhere inside the cities do it often with autorun, point of view is that the more options you add it will improve the game and not the other way around.
No I am not doing it on purpose accept that persons can make different suggestions from yours and what is not useful to you might be to someone else.
